Maranda Moses is a Montreal-based fiction writer currently at work on a collection of interlinked short stories.
She is the author of Proud Past, Bright Future, a nonfiction historical book about Union United Church, Montreal’s oldest Black congregation, which won a 2009 Silver IPPY Award.
Her fiction and non-fiction work has appeared in the Montreal Gazette, Essence, Mosaic Magazine, Kola, and the anthology Short Stuff: New English Stories from Quebec.
Maranda has also appeared on television and radio including CTV News, Global Quebec, and CKUT 90.3 Radio McGill. She welcomes connections with readers, writers and other creatives via her Contact page.
